Give It A Boost!

A lot has been going on the world recently, but we want you to stay safe, and most importantly, stay healthy. Here are some tips on how to give your immune system a boost!

As we undergo this devastating global crisis, we still must take every last precaution in order to avoid it. Since we’re all stuck in quarantine, some people have actually started to become more productive at home. However, some people have responsibilities to take care of which in turn forces them to go out and interact with other people. These people have a very high chance of catching the dreaded COVID-19. We still don’t know how to completely prevent it as this disease is very new to all of us. However, we can tell you a couple of methods that could help you and your family to avoid it and boost your immune system to fight this disease.

Good Nutrition

Fruits and vegetables have always been a must in your diet, because not only are they healthy, but they also help boost your immune system and will help you protect yourself from COVID-19. Known as “eating the rainbow”, having a diet full of colors provides the necessary vitamins needed to improve the natural immune system, fighting the coronavirus efficiently or even preventing it altogether. Also, all kinds of greens, especially spinach, will leave you stress-free and give you an energetic boost. It’s time to put that junk food aside and start working on your healthy diet. Not only will you increase your immunity and help put an end to this pandemic, but also you’ll exit quarantine with a hot body ready for summer 2020!

Over The Counter Supplements

There are many supplements that supposedly have strong immune-boosting properties such as Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Zinc. For centuries Vitamin C has been globally consumed in order to prevent and cure common colds. Along with many other functions, Vitamin C will also give you that glowing skin you’ve always been wishing for. Moreover, Vitamin D can be obtained while being exposed to the sun but since we’re all stuck at home, you might want to start taking Vitamin D capsules until this disease disappears so you could freely soak up the sun again. Vitamin D has been used by many people to enhance their immunity and it seemed to be very effective. We recommend that you take the necessary vitamins needed to strengthen your white blood cells so they would be able fight for you and leave the Coronavirus defeated.

Getting an Adequate Amount of Sleep

Sleep plays an important role in our general well-being, but little did you know that it also plays an important role with our immune system. The minimum amount of sufficient sleep for anyone should be around 7 to 8 hours. Research has shown that those who sleep less than 7 hours are more likely to develop Coronavirus symptoms, unlike those who sleep for more than 8 hours. Also, we know that you might be staying up all night binge-watching TV shows on Netflix, but sleeping at night makes your body produce hormones during that period. We’d like to encourage you to watch your shows in the morning and get a good amount of night sleep, in order to protect yourself and also get rid of those panda eyes you’ve been complaining about!
