Founded in Egypt, Alexandria, Almena Band is presenting and developing the Egyptian musical legacy and integrating it with other international music genres like Jazz, Hiphop, Reggae and Blues. Al Mena is known for its strong Alexandrian musical identity that’s obvious in their songs. The band consists of 6 greats members: Youssef Nour (trumpet/vocal), Adham El Habashy (Oud), Mohamed Affara (Lead guitar), John G. Sadek (beat box/ vocal), Ahmed Abd El Rasol (Bass Guitar), and Omar Aly Abdou (Keyboard). The band believes in collaborating more for the sake of creativity and to spreading their work all over the world via the Internet.
