Known as the premier Jazz vocalist and entertainer in Egypt, Ahmed Harfoush aka Harfoush is an Egyptian jazz vocalist based in London. In his teens, Harfoush joined numerous classical music choirs and excerpt from broadway and west end musicals, also he received voice training privately in Cairo and in London’s mountview academy for theatre arts. In 2007,Harfoush released his first original song by American producer Darryl Kennedy as part of album compilation ‘Voices from the sand’, also Darryl Kennedy has collaborated once again with Harfoush and The Riff Band to record ‘Tea For Two’. In London, Harfoush has founded his band ‘Harfoush Jazz Band’ in 2015 and he started his music venture The Egyptian Jazz Project (EJP) featuring Jazz arrangements of classic iconic Egyptian pop songs mixed with the great American songbook. In 2016, he performed the EJP at the Brighouse Art Festival in the UK, the Egyptian Culture Centre in London, the Gomhoureyya Theatre in Cairo and Café Osmoz in Paris (2017) and the Egyptian Embassies in Berlin and Vienna (2018). Harfoush has been performing around the world in London, Paris, Berlin, Milan, Athens, Vienna, Slovenia, Dubai, Prague and many more! In 2018, Harfoush has recorded his new original single ‘Sweet Little Sin’ with composer/lyricist Nadine Wild Palmer and music producer Leon Sanders.
